NOTICE of Membership Vote on Proposed Changes to LMEA Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws
On 1/9/16, the LMEA Board of Directors voted to approve changes to the LMEA Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. This vote was the second vote in consecutive board meetings to approve the changes.
This second vote by the Board enables the presentation of the proposed changes to the membership of LMEA for final approval. If two-thirds of the voting membership approve, the changes will go into effect in May of 2016.
During the month of February, the proposed changes will be posted to the LMEA website (lmeamusic.org) for review by the membership. Further information will be available on the website that will clarify the on-line voting procedures for members during the spring of 2016.
