All groups are allowed to play a short chorale, tuning chords, etc. on stage as
part of their allotted performance time.

Participating directors will be allowed in either end of the balcony.
These sections will be designated with signs.
Timing Rule:
A performing group will be penalized one (1) division in the Concert area if, in

L.M.E.A. Official and the festival judges, that group has caused, either by
action or inaction,
the festival to fall more than 10 minutes behind schedule due to warm-up
activities and/or performance (including set-up & take down) beyond the allotted
time limitations.
(25 minutes for 9-A down and 30 minutes for Class B and above)(45 minutes for
AAAA)
Groups following the offending group
shall NOT be penalized unless they are judged
to have caused the festival to fall an additional 10 minutes behind.
Such penalties shall be assessed after the group’s performance.
Ratings:
At the conclusion of a group’s performance, judges will place rating sheets and
tapes in an envelope and SEAL them.
